Hratch Armenious
Hratch Armenious was originally trained as an engineer, but his everlasting love for music and especially for musical instruments drew him to his destiny: musical instrument making. He sought training as a professional violinmaker in Moscow where he became acquainted with Alexander Krilov, an eminent master violinmaker employing the Italian method of violinmaking. Krilov very quickly accepted him as an apprentice in his workshop and Hratch soon achieved the necessary skill and was already on the path to mastery of the art of violin making. He participated and was recognized with awards at various international violin-making competitions in many countries such as Italy, Germany, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria and etc.
To date, during the 35 years of his career, he has made well over 400 violins, violas, and cellos, which are played on in many parts of the world.
