Ilia Shekhtihin

Graduated from the Azerbaijan State Conservatorium of Music with Diploma in Teaching, Chamber Music and Accompaniment as well as Master Degree in Performance.

Ilia Shekhtihin has extensive solo, chamber music and teaching experience in USSR as Senior Lecturer in Azerbaijan State College of Music as well as in Europe, Israel and Canada. His students are the top prizewinners of the Canadian Music Competition (CMC) and pursuing a professional carrier in music.

In addition to running his own private teaching studio, Ilia Shekhtihin is also active as a President of Euromusic Teacher's Association and serves as Academic Advisor to the Markham Music Festival.
