Soprano Paulina Swierczek is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Music in Applied Voice at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York under the tutelage of renowned coloratura Rita Shane. In honour of her outstanding academic and musical achievements at Eastman she has been named to the Dean's List and selected for the Jury Performance Award.

Paulina began her vocal studies with Tina Torlone at ProVoce Studios in Toronto, where made her first operatic appearance as the Countess Almaviva in a youth production of Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro in 2008. An alumni of the Young Artists Performance Academy of the Royal Conservatory in Toronto, Paulina has participated in master classes with artists and teachers such as Barbara Dever, Michael Warren, Roland Fix, Monica Whicher and Elizabeth Pomes.

Paulina received Royal Conservatory Silver Medals for Grade 9 and Grade 10 Voice in 2009 and 2010, respectively. She has performed on stages in both Canada and the United States, including the John Paul II Cultural Center in Mississauga, Kilbourn Hall in New York and the illustrious Koerner Hall in Toronto.
