Seminars and Competitions

Practice Techniques

Very important supplementary course that will help students to get the most out of their individual practice time. Topics such as time management in terms of hours, days, and weeks, avoiding time-wasting practicing, warming up exercises for ears and fingers, attention to correct notes and rhythms, and avoiding the need to correct wrong notes and rhythms will be addressed.

How to become a Performer

A series of discussions designed to introduce musicians to elements of taking care of themselves as performers. Reducing amount of stress on stage and in examination room.

String Instruments and Pianos

Informal talks and demonstrations, designed to better familiarize players with their instruments. Topics will include instrument care, maintenance and troubleshooting, plus points for musicians on being educated consumers when shopping for an instrument.

Scales Competition

Students are welcome to participate in student scales competition, the winners of which are awarded cash prizes.
