Yaroslav Pugach

Mr. Pugach holds a Diploma of Honour, and Degrees of Master of Music and a Doctorate in Music from St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov State Conservatory in piano solo, teaching, chamber music and accompaniment. He studied piano with Professor Tatiana Kravchenko, herself a student of the legendary pianists Lev Oborin and Konstantin Igumnov at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. In 1991 Mr. Pugach become a Laureate of the "Palma d'Oro" International Chamber Music Competition in Liguria, Italy.

As a Piano Performance Lecturer in St. Petersburg Conservatory and at the Special Music School-Lyceum for Gifted Children in St. Petersburg (Russia) Yaroslav Pugach has gained an extensive performing solo, chamber music and teaching experience, and as a soloist he performed at the various recitals and concerts with orchestras in Russia, Italy, Germany, Poland and South Korea. For the last seven years he has held position of a Visiting Professor at the Kookmin University in Seoul (South Korea). Very experienced adjudicator, Mr. Pugach was a member of jury of many national and international competitions.

Mr. Pugach's students are the top prizewinners of the national and international piano competitions such as Chopin International Piano Competition in ASIA (Tokyo, Japan) and pursuing a professional music career in many countries including Canada, USA, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Finland and Russia.
